A little bit about me.
I am a hardworking person who is always determined to meet my goals and expectations. I am punctual to more time limited projects and activities; I would work an extra mile to make sure my targets are met as per my schedule. Other than work I do designs, play basketball and listen to music.
I graduated from St. Charles Community College in May of 2022 majoring in Arts and Design Media and have spent six months doing co-op at True Manufacturing Company. I’ve had a chance to put my design skills to good use by helping design ad-sheets, and pops. It’s been particularly exciting to be immersed in this environment because I’ve been in love with the design team. This Co-op experience has only reinforced my desire to merge my design skills with my passion for art, which is why I knew I had to apply as soon as I saw the designer role at the company.
Working in media design for six months can be an exciting and challenging experience. Media design is a field that combines art, technology, and communication to create visual and interactive content for various platforms such as websites, mobile applications, social media, and other digital channels.
During the first few weeks of my job, I mostly spend time learning the design tools and software that were specifically used in the company. This includes programs like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, as well as other digital tools that can helped create different marketing ad-sheets.
One of the most exciting aspects of working in media design is the opportunity I had to be creative and innovative. I had the chance to experiment with different design styles, layouts, and color schemes to create visually appealing and engaging content.
I have also supported retail business projects for the clothing industry since 2016. My area of focus is providing technical expertise for merchandise displaying including sorting per price and style as well as inspecting merchandise in respect to customers’ desire and Keeping count of the register. I have also supported the food and beverage section in long-term living facilities.
